42-year-old Rosemarie Mifsud was placing luggage into the back of the vehicle when another taxi slammed into her, leaving her seriously injured. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. Monday.
She has been hospitalized with leg injuries but is expected to survive.
Neither of the drivers was arrested or issued a summons, NBC New York reported.
