New York, NEW YORK — A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Sunday, Feb. 1, at 7 PM, to Monday, Feb. 2, at 6 PM.
The potential exists for NYC to receive up to 8 inches of snow accumulation along with a mix of freezing rain, sleet, and plain rain.
Up to one-quarter inch of ice is possible. As the storm exits the area, temperatures will plummet into the single digits with wind chill values 10 to 20 degrees below zero Monday night.
