Jose R Roys, of Bolton St in the Bronx was arrested by the NYPD after raping a woman early Christmas morning.
The NYPD tells Breaking911.com that on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at approximately 6:20AM, the suspect engaged the victim in conversation opposite 2190 Boston Road at which point he punched her in the face and dragged her into a secluded area and raped her. The suspect then fled. EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition.
Thanks to the NYPD, Roys was arrested and charged less than 24 hour after committing the crime.
He has been charged with Rape, Robbery, Criminal Sex Act, Assault.
