The recording shows the officer striking alleged turnstile-jumper, Donovan Lawson, 20, in the head in the Myrtle Avenue/Broadway station on the border of Bedford-Stuyvesant and Bushwick just before 8 p.m.
The video shows the officer continue to a struggle with the man at the station’s benches as blood pours down Lawson’s face.
