Two policemen sustained light injuries in a stabbing attack which took place at the Lion’s Gate to Jerusalem’s Old City on Friday morning.
The policemen, ages 19 and 35, were treated on the scene and transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center with hand and neck injuries. The attacker fled the scene. Massive amount of police resources were deployed in the search for the terrorist.
Jerusalem police report the identity of the attacker is known and border police are working to apprehend him.
