The driver of a sport utility vehicle involved in a pursuit that exceeded 100 mph on freeways north of Los Angeles ran from the vehicle in Culver City after driving on the wrong side of streets and narrowly missing pedestrians in crosswalks.
Aerial video showed the man walking on the roof of the complex before turning on a water supply pipe and taking a drink. The man then wedged a board against what appeared to be a rooftop access door and placed cinder blocks in front of it to prevent it from opening.
