COFFEE COUNTY, Tennessee — The 3-year-old shooter shot his younger brother with a .25-caliber pistol in a home Tuesday.
The location is about 70 miles southeast of Nashville.
The victim’s condition isn’t known at the time of this report.
Sgt. Danny Ferrell told The Associated Press that investigators are still trying to determine how the 3-year-old got access to the weapon.
Coffee County is a county located in the U.S. state of Tennessee.
As of the 2010 census, the county’s population was 52,796. Its county seat is Manchester. Coffee County is part of the Tullahoma-Manchester, TN Micropolitan Statistical Area.
