BOULDER, Colorado — Two people died in the car accident on Sept. 23 at 17th Avenue and Gay Street.

28-year-old Lisa Garcia was pronounced dead on scene, and Therese Woodworth, 58, was transported to Longmont United Hospital where she was pronounced dead, according to ABC10.

After the crash, the coroner’s office said Woodworth’s family asked about her purse, and indicated it should have contained $1,000 in cash.

However, despite the fact that money is missing, the sheriff’s office released a statement that said:

“At the culmination of the investigation the facts were presented to the Boulder District Attorney’s Office and no charges will be filed, as we were unable to establish sufficient probable cause as to who took the money from the purse. The investigation has been concluded.”
