COLUMBUS, Ohio — Franklin County Persecutors say Kurt Flood is responsible for the death of 14-month old Cameron Beckford.
The toddlers remains was found last December in a backpack in Big Walnut Creek.
Flood reportedly believed the child had demons and beat the toddler to get rid of them, according to the Prosecutor.
Kurt Flood, 24, was indicted on five charges Monday.
If convicted, Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien says, Flood faces a possible sentence of 23 years in prison.
Flood’s indictment follows the involuntary manslaughter plea by the toddler’s mother last week.
