SEATTLE, Washington — The girl was walking down the street when a masked man approached her, pulled out a gun and told her to “give me everything you got.”
The suspect patted the teen down looking for a cellphone and money.
When he found neither, he snatched her backpack and fled the scene, said Jonah Spangenthal-Lee of the Seattle police.
The teen walked the rest of the way to school and reported the incident, he said.
The girl described the suspect as a black man in his late 20s, muscular, wearing a purple bandana over his face, a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
