PASCO COUNTY, Florida — 33-year-old Justin Lee Colby is charged with “attempted homicide – domestic” for allegedly striking 32-year-old Crystal Lynn Noordhuizen with his 2006 Dodge Charger.
Colby was arrested at a McDonald’s restaurant on U.S. 19 in Holiday around 11:25 p.m.
Crystal said just before 1:00 p.m. she left her home to avoid a confrontation and began to walk east on the south shoulder of Westwood Drive to wait for a ride.
Crystal says Colby then called her where he allegedly stated “Are you ready for your abortion date?”
The Florida Highway Patrol says Noordhuizen suffered minor injuries and was treated at Bayonet Point Hospital.
The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office says a surveillance camera captured the moment the Charger struck Noordhuizen.
