Jonathan Snipes, 32, and boyfriend Ethan York-Adams, 25, were at Dallas BBQ in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood when an argument escalated and they were bashed with a chair. The argument allegedly started over a spilled drink.
The NYPD says it is gathering information on the case, but that the department is not currently investigating it as a hate crime.
