POLICE TARGETED: SUSPECT FIRES SHOTS AT DEPUTIES PARKED AT CHURCH IN FLORIDA

Dade City – Two Pasco County Sheriff Deputies are lucky to be alive Sunday morning, after someone fired shots at them and got away without being caughts.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office says that two deputies were inside their patrol car monitoring traffic at the intersection of 21st and Lock Streets while stationed inside the parking lot of the Northside Baptist Church – located at 37047 Lock Street. Suddenly, the deputies heard gunshots, and at least three bullets whizzed by them. Local residents also reported the gunshots.

Thankfully, the deputies were not hit.

Police said they are looking for a small, dark-colored vehicle with tinted windows.

A press conference is scheduled for Sunday morning at 11:30AM.
