As protesters had promised in numerous Facebook and Twitter postings, hundreds of them showed up this morning to try and sabotage the NYC Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade. The NYPD was ready for any crisi to arise, and was standing by with a massive mobilization of personnel of every rank, including numerous “arrest wagons”.
Shortly after the protest started, objects were thrown off the rooftops at officers in the area of 6 Avenue and West 37th Street.
Moments later, arrest wagons were requested to the scene, and numerous protesters were taken into custody.
