LONG ISLAND — A New York man set his rental car on fire after he doused it with alcohol to get rid of the bedbugs inside.
And then, like any sane person would do, he sat down in the driver’s seat and lit a cigarette, according to the New York Post.
“He said he had bedbugs in the car, and someone told him if he saturated them with alcohol, it would kill them,” a law enforcement official said. “So he went and bought some alcohol, he poured it all in there and he sat in his car and lit a cigarette.”
The bedbug avenger was taken to the hospital with third degree burns.
