A New Jersey woman gave birth to twins with two separate fathers, Passaic County Judge Sohail Mohammad ruled Monday.
The discovery was made as the woman was seeking child support from the man whom she believed was the father. A paternity test showed the man was the father of only one of the twins.
The father in question is ordered to pay the mother 28 bucks per week. The children were born in 2013.
Apparently it is possible but extremely rare for a woman to give birth to twins with different dads. Mohammad said he found just two other court cases nationally on such matters, NBC-NY reported.
