TABERNACLE, N.J.–New Jersey State Police said Jeaninne LePage, 44 shot 3 of her children and used a pillow to muffle the noise. Police say LePage then turned the gun on herself.
A boy and a girl were found shot to death inside the home on Holly Park Drive in Tabernacle, New Jersey, Thursday morning. Another boy and a woman, police believe to be the children’s mother, were both airlifted to Cooper Hospital in Camden in very critical condition.
The woman was shot in the head. Police believed they were all shot with the same gun, recovered at the scene. Detectives said a motive for the shooting remains unknown.
Five other family members were inside the home at the time and say they heard any gunshots.
“At this time, we are not looking for any particular suspects,” Police said. WTXF-TV
