Channel 2 Action News reported 8 friends of Florida State gunman, Myron May are expecting a package from the suspect.

That package was scheduled to arrive today.

Reports say a postal inspector intercepted the package and said it didn’t contain anything harmful. The postal worker said it would end up to the recipient but wasn’t sure when. Police are investigating the contents.

“Maybe he was sending us a manifesto or I don’t know what he was sending, Paul, the shooters friend said. “What we hope is in the package is why he chose to do this,” he said.

“It clicked. I said, ‘Wait a minute, he sent a message to us all about a letter he was going to be sending us, or a package, to all of us to arrive Friday’. This is all connected,” one friend told the station. “Perhaps it’s an answer to why.”

The suspect, identified as Myron May, a lawyer who graduated from the school, fired more than 30 rounds from a .380 semi-automatic handgun at students outside the library before entering the lobby and shooting an employee. He was met outside and shot by police. READ MORE HERE
