26 year-old Cameron Shenk went to the restroom in Terminal C, took his clothes off and climbed into the drop ceiling, the Chicago Tribune reported.
A short time later, the suspect came running out of the bathroom naked and bleeding after falling through the ceiling and cutting himself, according to the report.
Shenk then allegedly attacked an 84-year-old man, whose injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.
The suspect was charged with attempted murder, assaulting an officer and lewd conduct.
