On Sunday morning New York Jets center Nick Mangold referenced the murder of two NYPD officers in Bedstuy Saturday night when he wore an NYPD ballcap while entering MetLife Stadium.
Mangold on his pregame NYPD hat: “I support the work they do. I can’t imagine what they go through every day. I wanted to support them.”
Head Coach Tom Coughlin wore a black strip on left shoulder and peace sign under NY in honor of NYPD officers Liu and Ramos.
