Alabama– A mother and her friend were unconscious and after the van hit a guardrail, crossed all lanes of traffic, and ran off of the Road, according to police.

That’s because the two women were high on heroin. The drugs, needles and spoons were found in the middle console.

The couple admitted to buying and using heroin in the car before the crash.

“Both the driver and front seat passenger were unconscious and unresponsive, but both children were conscious, alert, and buckled into their child seats properly,” the police report states.

Police arrested the mother, Erica Mondor, and her passenger, Autumn Miller, both 26.
