Gainesville, Georgia – – Officials from Hall County are searching for 35-year-old Derek Crawford after he escaped during a work detail Monday.
Crawford was serving a 20 year sentence for cocaine trafficking charges.
More than one law enforcement agency has joined Hall County in the search including a fugitive task force and search dogs.
