Milwaukee — 20 year-old, Antoine Pettis broke into the elderly woman’s home around 2 a.m. on Sept. 1 with the intent to burglarize the home, but says he didn’t find anything he wanted to steal. When he found the woman in her bed, he told her to “shut up,” slapped her several times in the face and raped her, the Tribune reports.
The 101-year-old woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The suspect was identified by DNA evidence from a previous case, he faces 58 years in prison if he is convicted.
“He did not plan the sexual assault or he would have worn a condom,” Pettis told police, according to the complaint.
