ORLANDO, Florida — 21-year-old Bryan Santana’s murder trial was delayed Tuesday after the suspect defecated on himself and smeared the feces all over himself and the walls of a holding cell at the courthouse.
The trial has been delayed pending a mental evaluation.
Santana is facing murder charges for allegedly strangling his roommate, Shelby Fazio with a belt before stabbing her in the neck with a pen and the having sex with her dead corpse.
Santana confessed to the strangling, stabbing and sexual intercourse last October.
He also allegedly killed Fazio’s dog and wrote out ‘I’m sorry I did this’ in animal blood on a wall.
Fazio was starting a new job at Disney World when she moved in with her killer, a pizza delivery driver.

After the incident, Santana is believed to have taken Fazio’s car and tried to go to a Walmart to buy a toy gun in hopes that he would be shot dead pointing it at police.
He also went and got a haircut after the crime.
