VIOLET, Louisiana — 49 year-old Ricky Moser is dead.
The incident happened around midnight. The home belongs to Tammy Martin, the estranged wife of Moser.
Police say, Moser stuck Raquel Nicolosi, 21, in the head with an expandable baton. Nicolosi was visiting the home.
Kory Mattox, 21, is identified as the boyfriend of Nicolosi. Police say Mattox retrieved a shotgun and shot Moser in the chest following the attack.
Mattox was questioned by authorities but is free pending further investigation, sheriffs say. -WLBT
