NEW YORK, New York — The man, a 26-year-old from New Jersey was found sleeping in the cockpit of a JetBlue Aircraft at Kennedy Airport early Tuesday, ABC7 reported.
The suspect made the entry undetected through the alarmed door of the jet bridge, down the jet-way and onto the plane. There was no one else on board at the time.
The man, who lives in Atlantic City, allegedly told the crew that a group of people was looking to “jump” him.
He was taken to Jamaica Hospital for observation, then arrested and charged with trespassing, NBC New York reported.
