Fort Lauderdale, Florida — The Broward Sheriff’s Office has released video taken from a hidden camera of the arrest of Miami Gardens Police Chief Stephen Johnson.
Stephen Johnson, Miami-Gardens Police Chief was arrested Friday evening for solicitation of a prostitute during a sting operation in Dania Beach.
Miami Gardens Police Statement: “We recently learned Chief Johnson has been arrested for the solicitation of a prostitute. As a result, Mr. Johnson’s employment with the City of Miami Gardens has been terminated, effective immediately. Assistant Chief Antonio Brooklyn will serve as the interim chief of police until further notice.”
Johnson is being held on $300 bond.
