A Brockton, Mass. woman was in the courthouse for a bail hearing on drug related charges when she tried to escape through the drop ceiling.
Jacqueline Cordaro, 29 had been denied a request to lower her bail when she tried to escape.
She was wearing leg shackles but climbed 20 feet despite the restraints. Cordaro fell through the ceiling where she had just appeared in court.
“It’s just hard to believe that she thought she could actually do something like that while in a court building. Where was she going to go?” Donna Caddy, Cordaro’s neighbor, said. “I think it’s just hysterical, it’s funny.”
