An Indianapolis manufacturing worker swung by the gas station on his lunch break, bought a coke and a 5 dollar lottery ticket called Hoosier Lottery 20 Years of Cash.
The 5 dollars was worth it. The man won 1 Million dollars.
He went with the payout of $975,428, but the ticket also offers payment as an annuity worth $5,000 a month for the next 20 years.
The man told a local news station that he played occasionally but never expected to win.
He told Fox4Indy he has no “specific” plans for the winnings.
The station was a Silver Express near the 8300 block of W 10thStreet in Indy.
