Oldsmar, FLORIDA — Christian Gonez, 23 has been charged with first degree murder in the killing of his 48 year old mother on New Years Eve.
Another one of the victim’s sons found the woman and called police.
The Sheriff department says Gomez became angry with his mother after she asked him to put away some boxes.
He decapitated her with an Ax and placed her head in a trash can.
Gomez attempted to put her decapitated body in the trash can but it wouldn’t fit. He then placed her body outside and left on a bicycle.
He was arrested a few blocks away.
Authorities say the suspect has 30 prior arrests and a history of mental illness.
