Leesburg, Florida — Officials are searching for a group of men accused of gang raping a 17-year-old girl.
The girl said the men, in their mid 20’s ambushed her in a home.
According to the police report, a Children’s Home Society case worker discovered the teen victim had been raped, so she immediately contacted police.
The police report is highly redacted but it appears the girl and her roommate met one of the suspects and then somehow the alleged victim ended up alone with three or four men.
Police said the girl went with them to a house, but when she walked in, she was picked up and taken to a bedroom.
Even though she said she told the suspect no, the alleged victim said the man she was with “did not seem to care” and he sexually assaulted her and that she was also assaulted by the other suspects.
After it was over, the girl said she was able to get away and get back home.
