A 24-year old woman was shot and killed Tuesday morning at a Brooklyn apartment complex.
Police say the shooting happened in the courtyard of the Lafayette Houses on DeKalb Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Officers found the woman at about 11:30 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the chest. She was taken to Brooklyn Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.
It is not yet clear whether she was the intended target of the shooting. The woman’s identity has not yet been released.
So far police have made no arrests.
