In a new video released by Al Jazeera America the night of the decision, Louis Head is heard saying, “If I get up there, I’m going to start a riot.”
This was prior to his “Burn this bitch down!” rant before protesters.
St. Louis County police said they are investigating Head’s comments as part of a broader inquiry into the arson, vandalism and looting. Twelve commercial buildings were destroyed in the hours after the grand jury decision.
“We are pursuing those comments and there’s a lot of discussion going on about that right now,” Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson told Fox News.
