A vehicle deliberately drove into a group of protesters in Minneapolis Tuesday afternoon. They had gathered toghtehr to protest the grand jury decision which decided that Officer Wilson would not face any charges.
The event was a solidarity rally and march for Michael Brown. It was taking place near the Minneapolis Police Department’s 3rd Precinct headquarters at Lake Street and Minnehaha Avenue S.
Eye witness reports state that the car was honking at protesters blocking the intersection before it headed into the crowd mowing over a women.
The driver of the vehicle did eventually stop near E 31st Street and 42nd Avenue S., according to authorities. Police are currently speaking with the driver.
The driver, who is male, is cooperating with police,
