PLACENTIA, California —  El Dorado High School — 1641 Valencia Ave. —

The teacher, 31-year-old Jillian Jacobson, was found hanging after a fellow teacher let students into the locked classroom shortly before class started Monday morning. She was a Photography teacher and had worked at the school for 10 years.

The teacher was in full cardiac arrest when the horrified students and staff made the discovery.

16-year-old, Frank Leon said that his teacher was screaming, ‘Oh my God, oh my God!’

A staff member cut the woman down and called 911. CPR was performed at the scene but was unsuccessful. She was declared dead at the school.

Police are investigating as a suicide. No note was left and detectives were not sure why she had committed suicide, KTLA reported. Jacobson’s husband has been notified of her death.
