Police responded to a shooting at Florida State University’s campus early Thursday morning. The gunman opened fire near the library.
Two people were being treated for injuries at a nearby hospital, their condition unknown. It is not clear if there are other injuries.
The status of the shooter is unknown, but the university tweeted that the “area has been secured” about two hours after the incident was first reported.
