Nine people are dead after shootings in south-central Missouri, the Houston Herald newspaper in Missouri reported Friday morning, citing Texas County (Missouri) Sheriff James Sigman.
There are multiple crime scenes, including four in the Texas County community of Tyrone, Sigman told the Houston Herald. Investigators say it appears that one person is responsible for those deaths and that person has been found dead in Shannon County. Residents reported that police went door-to-door on Friday warning them to secure their homes.
