Officials from the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services are looking for a person that was mistakenly released from custody Friday evening.
Rodriguez Purnell, of the 1800 block of Bentalou St., was released from the Maryland Reception, Diagnostic and Classification Center.
He is awaiting trial on murder charges when he was released by mistake.
Purnell is 6 ft tall and weights 175 pounds.
No further information is available at this time. The department’s Intelligence and Investigative Division is investigating the circumstances of his release. Law enforcement notified.
