THIS JUST IN: The district Attorney said Gregory Graf admitted he shot Jessica Padgett, his step daughter, in his home and disposed of her body.
33-year-old, Jessica Padgett’s car was found in the parking lot of a Dollar General store. Her cellphone and keys were inside. Surveillance video from inside the shopping center showed Graf dropping his truck off in the parking lot that morning, according to the DA.
Later in the day, Morganelli said Graf drove Padgett’s car into the Dollar General parking lot, left it and drove away in his truck.
Her body was found on her parent’s property. The motive appears to be sexual assault, officials said.
