PHOENIX, Arizona – 35th Avenue @ Thomas Road —
Police were following a stolen white pick-up truck early this morning when the driver pulled into a driveway.
The suspect threw the truck in reverse and slammed into the Officers’ Tahoe multiple times.
That’s when the Officer opened fire on the suspect.
The truck veered into a yard, hit a tree and burst into flames. The driver jumped from the vehicle and fled on foot.
Police are still looking for the suspected driver of the pickup truck.
It isn’t clear if the suspect was hit by the gunfire.
