LAS CRUCES, New Mexico — Police swarmed the scene at the MountainView Regional Medical Center Plaza after reports of a man with a rifle.
According to The Las Cruces Sun-News, the man walked into the building with a rifle wrapped in a plastic bag and pointed it at staff members.
Police are setting up a mobile command center in the hospital’s vicinity. Police are searching the area.
No injuries have been reported.
