Spirit Airlines has released that one of their flights from Tampa to Atlantic City was struck by lightning today.
Flight 348 sustained no operationial problems and the passengers are all safe.
As a precautionary measure, the plane was diverted and landed in South Florida,
The aircraft remains in Fort Lauderdale to be checked out.
