    PRESS RELEASE — LAPD — Updated: Earlier today the Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit learned that the California Highway Patrol conducted an investigation of a tragic traffic collision that took place on the Eastbound 10 Freeway on Saturday, March 28th around 2:25 a.m. During the investigation, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed that the pedestrian struck on the freeway was unfortunately our Missing Person, Mr. Eloi Vasquez.

    The family is understandably very distraught and has respectfully asked for privacy.

    Los Angeles: The family of 19 year-old, Eloi Vasquez and the Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Area detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.

    Eloi was last seen on March 28, 2015 around 1:30 a.m., in the 600 block of West 28th Street attending a party with friends. Eloi advised his friends that he wanted to take a walk. Eloi left the party and did not return. Concerned friends tried to make contact with him the following morning but had no success.
