2271 – 89 Frederick Douglass Boulevard — NYPD 28th precinct

According to sources close to the situation, the suspect entered the 28th precinct building without reason.

He appeared out of breath and said “if I go to jail tonight will get something to eat?” – “If I punch you in the face how long will I go to jail?”

The man continued to walk around with his hands in his pockets. Officers asked the man to leave several times. When he wouldn’t comply, officers tried to restrain the defendant, pepper spray was used.

During the struggle, the two officers and the suspect fell to the ground, both officers sustained injuries one to the right hand and the other with injury to his left hand causing swelling and bruising.

The perpetrator had an active warrant out for his arrest.
