NASHVILLE, Tennessee — A bomb threat was made to Nashville International Airport Sunday. The suspect reportedly indicated a bomb was on board Southwest flight 649, from Tampa to Nashville.
Southwest released the following statement: “We received a report of a non-specific bomb threat, which was thoroughly vetted by both Southwest and the local law enforcement and eventually cleared of any security threat. There will be no delay or impact to either our operation or the flight in question.”
According to WZTV, the flight is continuing to Nashville as scheduled.
Nashville International Airport is a public and military use airport in the southeastern section of Nashville in the U.S. state of Tennessee.
