HARRIS COUNTY – A three year old child was flown to the hospital after suffering a single gunshot wound to the head. He has died from his injuries.
The wound appears to be self-inflicted, according to officials.
Investigators said the boy’s mother was home with her two sons when the shooting happened. Detectives said it appears that it was a tragic, Click2Houston reported.
LifeFlight transported the child to Memorial Hermann Hospital Friday afternnon. He died from his injuries hours later.
