Craig Spencer, the doctor whose is the first diagnosed case of Ebola in New York City, successfully cleared the U.S. government’s newest ‘enhanced’ screening protocols when he returned to the U.S, the DailyMail reports.. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Spencer, who was in the nation of Guinea treating Ebola patients as part of Doctors Without Borders, passed inspection six days before showing symptoms and checking himself into Bellevue Hospital where he remains in isolation.
