Palm Beach, Florida– US Army recruiter, John McDonald was arrested Thursday after a 16 year old told them he started contacting her.
Police say he sent naked pictures and said, “Need someone to cuddle with… if I wouldn’t go to jail, I would totally ask you out!”
“Anytime you get anyone in a position of authority, whether it is a school figure, anyone people have to respect and look up to because of their position, certainly taking advantage of that position is not something anyone wants to see. It is disappointing,” said prosecutor Greg Schiller.
McDonald initially denied contacting the girl. Then he told investigators he ‘told the girl to stop contacting him’
After being shown the photos on the girls phone, he admitted the images were of him.
McDonald is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail without bond.
