Transport Workers Union (Local 591) mechanic Dave Ostang died at a local hospital Monday after falling from a jet bridge at the Dallas, Fort-Worth Airport.
American Airlines spokesperson Matt Miller gave the following statement to CBS 11 –
“At approximately 10:30 a.m. CST today, one of our mechanics was involved in an accident on a jetbridge at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
Sadly, he suffered fatal injuries. We extend our deepest sympathies to our co-worker’s family and friends, and our hearts go out to our entire team of DFW airport and maintenance colleagues.
Our focus is on taking care of his family and friends during this difficult time.”
