McHenry Maryland — Garrett College — Thursday afternoon —
9-year-old Shamaine N. Moore was charged with attempted second-degree murder and related charges after police say she allegedly pulled a knife out at the cafeteria at the Garrett County school.
Troopers arrested Moore without incident.
Daniqua Harrington, 20, was hospitalized and her condition wasn’t immediately available.
18-year-old Chandel Alexander was treated and released.
The investigation is ongoing.
Garrett College is a two-year college located in McHenry, Garrett County, in far western Maryland.
Established in 1966 as Garrett Community College, it opened its doors in 1971, and took its present name in 2002.
